The mission of the Greater Miami Urban Education Pact is to build
a standing community framework to facilitate joint-institutional
planning, professional dialogue and coordinated goal setting.
Goals include improvement in academic and overall school performance;
reduction in truancy rates; awareness and preparation for professions
and careers; and motivation and a means to lifelong learning.
